You can be a composer!

A composer is someone who creates music. Classical composers often write down their music. When you write down your music other musicians can play it hundreds of years later without ever meeting you. Composing is a great way to share your music with many people. Even if you have never taken an instrument lesson you can compose with us!

Arts & Culture Disciplines: Arts Education, Music (instrumental and vocal)

Description of Program: Compose an original piece of music using our graphic score template. Submit for a chance to have your work performed!

Meet a composer!

Composers are all unique, just like people. What inspires you? What ideas do you have? What music do you imagine? Everyone has something different to offer. Don’t be afraid to express yourself and let your voice be heard!
